KKL-JNF: No Parties Held at the Nova Site on October 7
KKL-JNF will not permit parties at the Nova memorial site near Re'im on the October 7 anniversary, stressing it's a place of remembrance.
Jerusalem, 29 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — KKL-JNF has clarified that no parties or organized celebrations will be permitted at the Nova memorial site near Re’im during the October 7 anniversary.
on October 7, 2023, Hamas Terrorists attacked the Nova music festival, in the worst massacre in Israeli history. The terrorists killed 364 peaceful festivalgoers, injured hundreds more, and took 40 hostages back to Gaza.
The clarification follows reports of plans for gatherings at the site, where hundreds of people were murdered during the Hamas Massacre in 2023.
KKL-JNF Chairman Eyal Ostrovsky said the organization would not approve of celebrations at the site, comparing such events to holding a party in Auschwitz.
KKL-JNF said the memorial site should remain a place of remembrance and respect for the victims and their families.
KKL-JNF has been Involved in developing and maintaining the memorial site, which attracts thousands of visitors daily.
