Jerusalem, 29 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The government today approved the new five-year government plan for the development of the city of Eilat and the Eilot Regional Council, with a total scope of approximately 360 million Shekels ($120), and in cooperation with approximately 20 government ministries.

As part of the plan, health services will be strengthened, public services will be expanded, new growth engines will be promoted, transportation and tourism infrastructure will be developed, and the quality of life of residents of Eilat and the Eilot region will be strengthened.
