After three months of activity, the forces of the 228th Brigade Combat Team, under the command of the 210th Division, completed their mission in the forward security area in Syria, to remove threats to the State of Israel.
Over the past few months, the forces carried out targeted operations, interrogated dozens of suspects, arrested several operatives, destroyed terrorist infrastructure, and located numerous weapons, including: RPGs, mortar shells, and Kalashnikov rifles.
The forces of Combat Team 228 have recently completed their fifth reserve duty rotation; they will be replaced by forces from the 2nd Brigade.
The forces of the 210th Division will continue to operate in the area to protect the security of the citizens of the State of Israel and the residents of the Golan Heights in particular.
