Throughout the war, Azar promoted sniper attacks and the placement of explosives against IDF forces operating in the Gaza Strip. In recent times, alongside promoting terror attacks against IDF forces in the immediate term, Azar attempted to work on restoring the capabilities of the terrorist organization Hamas. The terrorist posed a threat to our forces operating in the Gaza Strip and was eliminated in an airstrike. IDF forces in the Southern Command are deployed in the area according to the agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat.
