Jerusalem, 8 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Energy Sector reached a significant milestone today with the delivery of its first hydrogen-powered intercity bus to energy firm Bazan Group. Imported by Auto Chen Mobility in partnership with the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, the vehicle features advanced fuel cell technology that converts hydrogen into electricity, emitting only pure water vapor.
Equipped with high-pressure 700-bar fuel tanks and a CATL high-voltage battery, the bus achieves a driving range of up to 600 kilometers. Refueling takes under five minutes—offering a zero-emission alternative with refueling speeds comparable to traditional diesel buses and far surpassing standard electric vehicle charge times.
