Jerusalem, 8 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel recorded mixed trends in major home appliance imports in September 2026 compared to September 2025. While imports of refrigerators and tumble dryers declined by 6.3% and 58.8% respectively, washing machines and dishwashers surged by 92.6% and 87.8%. This is according to he data released by the Israel Tax Authority.
Year-to-date data for January through September 2026 reflects similar patterns: refrigerator imports fell 13.0% and tumble dryers dropped 54.1%, whereas washing machine imports rose 27.3% and dishwashers grew 17.8%.
Consumer electronics maintained strong momentum throughout the period. Television imports jumped 23.7% year-over-year in September, driving cumulative television imports for the first nine months of 2026 up by 16.8% compared to the same period in 2025.
