Israels High-Tech Industry Powers 13% Production Surge

Israel's high-tech industry fueled a 13.4% production surge in Q2 2026, contributing significantly to overall industrial and export growth.

Jerusalem, 27 August, 2026 (TPS-IL) — New data from Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics show strong growth in the country’s Industrial sector.

High-tech led the gains, with production rising 13.4% in the second quarter. In the first half of 2026, high-tech production jumped 31.7% compared with the same period last year.

Overall industrial production, including Manufacturing, mining and quarrying, rose 8.5% in the second quarter.

Exports also grew sharply. Revenue from export sales increased 12.8% in the second quarter, driven mainly by high-tech and medium-high-tech industries. For January-June, export revenue rose 62.1% after seasonal adjustment.
