TPS: Industrial Producer Prices Jump 2.7% in August on Fuel Costs

Israel's industrial producer prices jumped 2.7% in August, driven by a significant rise in fuel costs, according to the Central Bureau of Statistics.

Jerusalem, 17 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics reported that Industrial Output prices for domestic destinations rose 2.7% in August compared to July, driven largely by a 28.6% monthly surge in fuel prices. Excluding fuels, the index rose a more modest 0.2%.

Over the past 12 months, industrial output prices rose 2.5% overall, with fuel prices up 22.7% year-on-year. Mining and quarrying prices fell 0.8% for the month and 7.0% annually.

Separately, the second-Quarter 2026 service industry price data showed increases in cleaning (3.6%), accounting (3.3%), and employment services (2.4%), while legal services, publishing, and computer programming prices declined.
