Jerusalem, 5 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — JERUSALEM — Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar held a telephone diplomatic discussion on Tuesday with Montenegro’s Deputy Prime Minister for Foreign and European Affairs, Filip Ivanović, focusing on expanding economic and bilateral ties.

During the exchange, Sa’ar highlighted the robust existing relations between the two nations, particularly regarding trade development and tourism streams.

“Tourism and investment from Israel in Montenegro are already at impressive levels,” said Sa’ar. “With greater cooperation between our countries, we can achieve even more.”

Sa’ar formally extended an invitation to Ivanović to visit Israel to advance diplomatic, cultural, and financial initiatives between Jerusalem and Podgorica. Both leaders agreed to maintain open communication channels to strengthen strategic partnership efforts.
