TPS: Israel Promotes Tourism at Major Travel Trade Show in Paris
Israel's Ministry of Tourism showcased the country at Paris's IFTM travel exhibition, emphasizing culinary delights and increasing flight routes from France.
Jerusalem, 15 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Ministry of Tourism Director General Michael Itzhakov attended the IFTM travel trade exhibition in Paris on Tuesday, one of the leading international business tourism events, expected to draw around 30,000 industry professionals and travel agents over three days.
Israel’s pavilion, spanning 72 square meters, featured business meetings alongside Israeli culinary demonstrations and Hebrew temporary tattoos, aimed at promoting Israeli tourism to industry representatives.
France remains Israel’s second-largest source of tourists after the United States, with over 176,000 French visitors in 2025 and roughly 81,500 through August 2026. There are currently 57 weekly direct flights between Paris and Israel, with More Than 70 expected during the winter season.
