Katz condemned Erdogan’s statements accusing Israel regarding Gaza, calling him a “paper sultan” who relies on anti-Semitic incitement while backing Hamas. Katz criticized the Turkish leader’s foreign policy record, pointing to his lack of action over Iranian regional aggression and unfulfilled security commitments.
“I suggest he stop messing with Israel,” Katz stated. “the State of Israel is strong and knows how to take care of itself—we are not the Kurds and the helpless people he abuses in Turkey to this very day.”
