Jerusalem, 14 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel and the United States have signed an agreement for Israel to procure 12 advanced Boeing-manufactured Apache E attack helicopters, following Israeli government approval on Wednesday. The helicopters, the newest and most advanced variant of the Apache, are scheduled for delivery in the early 2030s.

The agreement was negotiated jointly to meet Israel’s defense needs, with the Defense Ministry’s U.S. mission and budget department leading the process.

Defense Minister Israel Katz called the procurement a critical step in strengthening Israel Defense Forces capabilities against a broad range of threats and ensuring readiness for future challenges. He thanked the U.S. administration and Pentagon for their support and cooperation in completing the deal.

Boeing Israel President Maj. Gen. (Res.) Ido Nehushtan said the agreement reinforces Boeing’s longstanding partnership with Israel and its commitment to supplying advanced military aircraft and equipment to the Israeli Air Force.
