Six suspects were arrested as part of a widespread operation in the Galilee to strengthen resident security. To locate illegal weapons, Northern National Guard fighters, district police officers, the aerial unit of the Israel Police, and additional enforcement personnel raided several targets. In a search in Sakhnin, a Glock pistol and a magazine with ammunition were found, and 15 cameras installed in public areas illegally were removed. In a search in an open area in Deir Hanna, a Glock pistol and a magazine were found hidden in the location. In another search in Kafr Mandi, a loaded magazine for an M16 weapon and a substance suspected to be hashish, in a quantity not for personal use, were seized. Simultaneously, in an open area in the city of Arraba, a police dog located an explosive device for use.
