Two Key Suspects Arrested in Jerusalem Murder of Hussein Issa
Jerusalem police arrested two key suspects in Hebron for the June murder of Hussein Issa in the Silwan neighborhood, following a multi-unit investigation.
Jerusalem, 30 August, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Over the past few weeks, operations were carried out as part of a Jerusalem Central Unit (Yamar) investigation, under the direction of the district commander, to arrest suspects in the murder of Hussein Issa, 22, in the Silwan neighborhood of Jerusalem in late June.
Operators from the Gideonim Unit (33) in Lahav 433, alongside coordinators from the Chetz Yehuda Unit in the Judea and Samaria District, tracked down the hideout of two key suspects and arrested them in Hebron during an undercover operation conducted in cooperation with the IDF (Israel Defense Forces).
