Jerusalem, 31 August, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Three Palestinian illegal residents were arrested Monday during a Holon police operation ahead of the new school year. Their two employers, residents of Holon and Jerusalem in their 30s and 60s, were also arrested, questioned, and later released under restrictive conditions.

Over the past week, police conducted several operations to locate illegal residents, focusing on businesses supplying food to schools and construction sites.

The operation involved police, local emergency response team members and Holon municipal inspectors.

Police inspected five businesses, including catering companies and food suppliers. No violations were found.

Officers also inspected construction sites across the city, where they found three men in their 20s from Shechem who were in Israel illegally. They were arrested, taken to the Holon police station, and jailed.
