Large forces that arrived at the scene noticed two men with gunshot wounds in critical and serious condition. The two were evacuated for medical treatment, and the critically injured man was pronounced dead at Wolfson Medical Center. Simultaneously, an additional suspect who was in the vehicle with the two injured victims was arrested near the scene. According to suspicion, a motorcyclist ambushed the victims who were inside a vehicle in a side parking lot, fired at them, and fled the scene. The Commander of the Tel Aviv District, Superintendent Chaim Sergrov, held a situation assessment with the Commander of the Ayalon Subdistrict, Superintendent Dani Haddad, at the scene of the incident, and the investigation was assigned to the Tel Aviv Central Unit. As part of the investigation, many means and resources were utilized, which led the detectives of The Central Unit to identify a suspect, a resident of Jaffa (22), and he was arrested yesterday evening. During a search conducted in his residential area, a Sig Sauer pistol with a magazine and ammunition was seized. The suspect was transferred for investigation, and this morning he will be brought for a remand extension hearing at the Tel Aviv Magistrate’s Court.
