Jerusalem, 22 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — PETAH TIKVA, Israel — Israeli police raided a residential apartment in Petah Tikva suspected of serving as a narcotics preparation and distribution hub, law enforcement announced.
Detectives seized over 40 kilograms (88 pounds) of illicit substances during the search, including significant quantities of cocaine, MDMA, ecstasy, and cannabis. All confiscated items were transferred to forensic laboratories for chemical analysis and evidence extraction.
Following the raid, police arrested a local resident in his 20s on suspicion of managing the illegal operation. A magistrate’s court subsequently extended the suspect’s detention as the police investigation continues.
