The Commander of the Tel Aviv District, Superintendent Haim Sharagoff, conducted a situation assessment at the scene, and the investigation was assigned to the Unit for Combating Crime in the Ayalon region. The investigation of the incident crossed districts and combined additional forces and units, which led the Ayalon Unit for Combating Crime investigators to track the escape route of the suspect (Rehovot, 21) who was located hiding in a military base, where he was arrested. The suspect’s arrest was extended from time to time, and at the end of the investigation, a statement of prosecution was filed by the Tel Aviv District Prosecutor’s Office.
