Suspect arrested in infant puree anesthetic incident
Israel Police arrested a man in his 40s from the South in connection with the infant puree anesthetic incident, with further investigations ongoing.
Suspicion of involvement of additional individuals is being investigated. The police investigation, opened in the Jerusalem District, continues to operate at all times to locate suspects and those involved, in parallel with the examination of the collected findings, with the aim of tracing the source of the sedatives and how they were introduced into the products. In recent days, investigators from the Jerusalem District police have achieved a breakthrough in the investigation of the case and revealed the identity of a resident of the South, in his 40s, who is suspected of being involved in the incident. Today, he was arrested and transferred for investigation at the unit’s offices.
