Jerusalem, 15 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli police arrested a suspect in his 20s in connection with a fatal shooting on Rubinstein Street in Jaffa, part of Tel Aviv, after a man was shot Tuesday evening and later pronounced dead at Wolfson Medical Center.
Large police forces from the Jaffa Station and Tel Aviv District forensics teams responded to the scene, conducting evidence collection and searches for suspects following the shooting.
The arrested suspect was transferred to the Tel Aviv District Central Unit for further investigation. Police have not yet released details on a possible motive or the identity of the victim.
