Northern District Police and the Traffic Division, along with Border Police fighters, are currently operating at the scene to open the traffic route and direct road users to alternative routes.

Shortly ago, the Coastal Highway was blocked on the descent to Zichron Yaakov, following a blockade by bus passengers making their way to Meron. Several buses with hundreds of passengers making their way to Meron stopped.
