Security forces drill today in Eilat, Arava region
Security forces conduct extensive drill in Eilat & Arava region today, practicing complex scenarios by air, sea, and land to enhance defense.
An extensive drill by security forces will begin today in the Eilat and Arava region – heavy movement of security forces, aircraft, and vessels will be felt. The drill was scheduled in advance as part of the Operations Directorate’s drill schedule for 2026, and during it, forces will practice a variety of complex extreme scenarios by air, sea, and land, with an emphasis on defending the communities in the Eilat region. Eilat district Police officers and additional forces led by the Southern District, alongside IDF forces, will participate in the drill. A variety of scenarios will be practiced with an emphasis on maintaining public safety, responding to security incidents, controlling traffic routes, handling multiple scenes simultaneously, and cooperation with all security and rescue bodies. In addition, inter-organizational and multi-branch cooperation between the Israel Police, IDF forces, and other security and emergency bodies will be practiced, as well as between ground forces and the Air Force and Navy forces.
