Police Search Ness Ziona Municipality Offices in Histadrut Corruption Probe

Jerusalem, 4 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli Police investigators searched the Ness Ziona municipal offices and seized documents in connection with a suspected corruption probe involving the Histadrut labor union.

Mayor Shmuel Bukser said he had alerted authorities months ago after identifying irregularities related to municipal insurance and had filed a complaint. The municipality said a senior official was questioned today over suspected misconduct and confirmed it is cooperating with investigators.
