Police Arrest Suspect Following Stone-Throwing Attack East of Jerusalem
Israeli police arrested an 18-year-old Palestinian from Khan al-Ahmar following a stone-throwing incident near Havat Re’im, east of Jerusalem.
Jerusalem, 27 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli security forces arrested an 18-year-old Palestinian resident of Khan al-Ahmar (located near Jerusalem) following a stone-throwing incident targeted at Israelis near Havat Re’im (Friends Farm), east of Jerusalem, police reported.
Responding to emergency reports on Saturday afternoon, officers from the Ma’ale Adumim Police Station alongside Border Police units operating in the Jerusalem Envelope deployed to the scene. Forces identified and apprehended the suspect shortly after arriving.
The individual was taken into custody for police interrogation on suspicion of involvement in the assault and was subsequently remanded in custody pending formal charges. Israeli authorities confirmed no immediate casualties were reported in the incident.
