In a joint operation by IDF fighters, Judea and Samaria Border Police fighters, and Judea and Samaria District Police officers, a weapons smuggling attempt was thwarted. A suspect who attempted to flee was shot by the forces. Last Thursday, the following took place:

The suspect was injured and fled, and the forces began a pursuit after him, during which they located a bag containing seven handguns intended for smuggling into Israeli territory. The handguns were transferred for further investigation by the Judea and Samaria District Police.
