After three days of searches, the body of the young man who went missing at the Students’ Beach in Haifa was located. Following an extensive search operation by the Israel Police, in cooperation with additional bodies, the missing person, a 22-year-old resident of Haifa, was found lifeless a short while ago. During the searches, all means were deployed, including drones, a police helicopter, a boat, speedboats and jet skis, horses, jeeps, and more. The main search and location efforts focused on extensive, continuous sweeps, day and night, from the air, along the coastline, and in the water. In the overall effort, officers and volunteers from the Coastal District, Border Police fighters, the Air Unit, the Maritime Police, mounted police, K9 units, jeeps, and more participated. The Navy, through the YALTAM unit, the LAHAV unit of the Fire and Rescue Services, police volunteer rescue units, the Haifa Municipality, United Hatzalah, emergency response teams, jeep volunteers, the divers’ volunteer club, beach lifeguards, civilian volunteers, Magen David Adom, the YEDIDIM organization, police volunteer rescue units, ZAKA volunteers, and additional forces took part. We thank all the units, forces, and volunteers who participated in the search and location efforts over the three days. The Israel Police shares in the family’s sorrow.
