Demolition Order Issued for Illegal Construction Near Grave of Slain Kabbalistic Rabbi

Jerusalem, 6 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Land Enforcement Authority on Sunday issued a demolition order for illegal construction near the Netanya grave of Rabbi Amos Guetta.
Following an inspection, officials determined that construction covering about 1,400 square meters had been carried out without authorization and partly beyond the cemetery boundaries. The Authority stressed that the order does not concern the rabbi’s grave, but construction in the adjacent area.
Rabbi Guetta, a prominent kabbalist, was Stabbed to death by a mentally unstable follower in July.
