Jerusalem, 14 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Four people were injured when an explosive device detonated inside a moving vehicle in the southern Israeli town of Netivot, according to Israeli media reports.
Emergency medical teams were dispatched to the scene to provide treatment to the injured.
The incident is taking place against the backdrop of feuds between criminals in Netivot over the past year. Some of those involved in the disputes came to the city from Beersheba or were released from prison. Several months ago, a city resident was murdered by criminals.
Police are expected to investigate the incident and determine whether the explosion was criminally motivated. Authorities will also examine the circumstances under which the explosive device detonated while the vehicle was in motion.
