Armed suspects fled police on Route 60 toward Al-Ram after a pursuit that involved gunfire and minor injuries.

Assessment that a serious incident was prevented, circumstances are being investigated and the manhunt continues. Early this morning, during an operational activity in the Binyamin sector, combined forces, including a police officer and a soldier, noticed a vehicle parked on the side of the road near Adam Junction, with two armed suspects beside it. When the suspects noticed the forces, they got into the vehicle and began to flee. The force began a pursuit on Route 60 after the suspects, who were driving in a manner that endangered road users, hit the police car and caused minor injuries to the police officer and the soldier, who were evacuated for medical treatment at the hospital. The force engaged and fired at the vehicle’s tires, but the suspects continued their escape towards the Palestinian village of Al-Ram. Forces from the Binyamin station, under the command of the Binyamin station commander and in cooperation With the Binyamin Brigade, conducted searches on the routes. Forces from the Binyamin Brigade imposed a cordon on the village and are operating to locate them in Area B.
