Jerusalem, 1 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — RedHill Biopharma, an Israeli specialty pharmaceutical company, said Tuesday it has acquired exclusive commercialization rights to two FDA-approved gastrointestinal drugs from Swiss pharmaceutical company Ferring Pharmaceuticals.
Under the $12 million deal, RedHill will hold global rights to Rebyota, a treatment to prevent recurrent C. difficile infections, and U.S. rights to Clenpiq, a bowel preparation used before colonoscopies. The two products generated about $37.5 million in U.S. sales in 2025, according to RedHill.
The company said the acquisition was funded by its previously announced $18 million sale of Talicia to Canadian pharmaceutical company Apotex, with additional milestone payments and royalties possible.
