Jerusalem, 12 February, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Foreign Minister Gideon spoke with Thai Foreign Minister Sihasak Phuangketkeow to convey Israel’s congratulations for the Thai Prime Minister’s “impressive victory” in his country’s recent elections.

Sa’ar said the two discussed bilateral relations, and that he, “highlighted” the 60% increase of Israeli tourism in Thailand in 2025.

“We want to strengthen relations across new horizons, including cyber, medicine and advanced technologies,” he said adding, “I look forward to hosting my counterpart in Israel!”
