IDF Eliminates Hamas Nukhba Platoon Commander and Another Terrorist
The IDF eliminated Hamas Nukhba platoon commander Ibrahim Fawzi Ismail Mohsen and another terrorist in Gaza strikes Friday.
Jerusalem, 26 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF killed two Hamas terrorists in separate strikes in the Gaza Strip on Friday, the military said.
In the first strike, in the Nuseirat area, the IDF killed Ibrahim Fawzi Ismail Mohsen, a Nukhba platoon commander in Hamas’s military wing.
In a separate strike in Khan Yunis, the IDF killed Mohammed Kamel Suleiman Mohsen, also a member of Hamas’s military wing.
The IDF said the two terrorists had recently advanced terrorist plots targeting Israeli forces and Israeli civilians and worked to restore Hamas’s military capabilities, while systematically violating the ceasefire agreement. The military said the strikes had been carried out to remove the threat posed by the two men.
IDF Southern Command forces remain deployed in accordance with the ceasefire agreement and will continue operating against immediate threats, the military said.
