Arava Power, OCI Energy Break Ground on 347-Megawatt Texas Solar Plant

Jerusalem, 2 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli renewable energy company Arava Power and U.S.-based OCI Energy have broken ground on the 347-megawatt project near Houston, Texas.

The SunRoper Solar project is expected to begin operations in December 2027 and will supply electricity to a Fortune 100 company under a long-term power purchase agreement.
