Jerusalem, 11 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Argentina has inaugurated a memorial to the victims of the October 7, 2023, Nova music festival massacre in Mendoza, the first of its kind outside Israel. The memorial consists of 414 trees and was established by KKL Argentina — the local branch of the Jewish National Fund — in partnership with the city.
A delegation of bereaved families and representatives of the Nova Tribe Community Association, which brings together survivors and families affected by the massacre, attended the inauguration. During their visit, they also took part in memorial events and met with Jewish communities across Argentina to recount the stories of their loved ones killed in the attack.
