Jerusalem, 21 August, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Dozens of Arabs pelted a group of Jewish hikers with rocks as they traveled between Givat Kol Yaakov and Ma’ale Tidhar in Gush Etzion on Friday.
during the hike, the Jewish group passed near a Palestinian village, from which dozens of attackers emerged and began throwing stones and rocks on the group.
Security forces called to the scene were also attacked with rocks. One security officer, who felt that his life was in danger, fired at an attacker who was rushing him and seriously injured the attacker.
