Jerusalem, 22 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli authorities have arrested and indicted a 19-year-old Negev resident accused of posting material online that incited terrorism and expressed support for Hamas, the Israel Police and Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) said Tuesday.
Deif Allah Abu Ragila, a resident of the Bedouin town of Segev Shalom east of Beer-Sheva, was arrested about a month ago, it was cleared for publication.
According to the indictment filed at the Beer-Sheva Magistrate’s Court, Abu Ragila shared extensive extremist material on social media during 2026, including images and videos of terrorists, footage from the Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas-led attack on Israel, and posts praising terrorists and senior Hamas officials.
Authorities said the material also included content associated with the Fatah-linked Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades, praise for attacks carried out in Israel and explicit calls for violence and terrorism.
