Jerusalem, 23 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli medical technology company Theranica said Wednesday that its artificial intelligence-powered migraine forecasting tool can predict a patient’s likelihood of experiencing a migraine the following day with 91.2% precision.
The findings, published in the peer-reviewed journal Neurology Open Access, are based on 770,473 daily reports from 53,065 users of Theranica’s FDA-cleared Nerivio wearable between January 2020 and July 2025.
Researchers found that a patient’s headache pattern over the preceding 30 days was the strongest predictor, outweighing traditional warning symptoms immediately preceding an attack.
Theranica said its “Your Day Ahead” feature is incorporated into the Nerivio app and does not diagnose migraine or recommend treatment changes.
