Jerusalem, 30 August, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s National Cyber Directorate has developed a unified methodology for managing cyber risks across the Supply Chain, addressing the growing threat of attacks targeting businesses through external vendors, cloud services, software systems and IT companies.

Officials said supply chain attacks have become one of the most significant Cyber Threats facing organizations in recent years, making it essential for businesses to assess the security level of the suppliers they work with.

The new methodology allows organizations to evaluate their suppliers’ level of protection while giving suppliers clear guidance on the security requirements and controls they must meet, creating a common language and a uniform inspection process across the economy.

The new system centralizes this process in one place, allowing businesses and suppliers to manage assessment and compliance in a simpler, more organized manner.
