Jerusalem, 17 February, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) it eliminated two terrorists from the Palestinian islamic jihad terrorist organization in Syria. The two were eliminated in an attack carried on Sunday in the Majdal Anjar area in Lebanon.

The terrorists were targeted as they attempted to cross the border from Lebanon into Syrian territory, after they had recently been promoting terrorist acts against the State of Israel from within Lebanese territory.
