Israeli Military Destroys Rocket Launcher in Lebanon Just After Rocket Strike on Israel

Rockets from Lebanon struck Israel's Haifa and Kiryat Shmona areas; the IDF responded by destroying the launch site in Lebanese territory.

Jerusalem, 25 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Earlier this evening (Wednesday), rockets were fired from Lebanon at the Haifa and Kiryat Shmona areas. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

Shortly thereafter, the IDF (Israel Defense Forces) attacked and destroyed the launcher in Lebanese territory from which the rockets were fired.

“The IDF will not allow harm to the citizens of the State of Israel and will continue to act forcefully against the terrorist organization Hezbollah,” it said.
