Jerusalem, 5 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Ministry of Defense has signed the first phase of a $26 million deal to acquire dozens of Joint Light Tactical Vehicles (JLTVs) for the Israel Defense Forces’ ground units, the ministry said.

The procurement, carried out through the ministry’s mission to the United States, includes armored tactical mobility vehicles intended to support maneuvering forces across a range of operational scenarios. The agreement also includes a full maintenance and sustainment package.
