Jerusalem, 16 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) last night (Monday) destroyed the plane of the leader of the Iranian regime at the ” Mehrabad” Airport in Tehran.

The plane was used by Iranian leader Ali Khamenei, other senior officials from the Iranian regime, and elements of the Iranian army, to promote, the IDF said, military procurement and to manage relations with allies through domestic and foreign flights.

“The destruction of the plane harms the ability of the leadership of the Iranian terrorist regime to coordinate with the Axis countries, build a military force, and the ability to restore the terrorist regime,” said the IDF. “In this way, another strategic asset will be taken away from the Iranian regime.”
