Jerusalem, 22 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — JERUSALEM — Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke directly with the family of Natanel Shukron, who was killed in a terrorist shooting attack in the Binyamin region (located north of Jerusalem) prior to Yom Kippur, the Prime Minister’s Office announced.
Netanyahu expressed deep condolences on behalf of himself and his wife, Sara, offering support to the grieving family following the fatal attack.
Paying tribute to the victim, Netanyahu described Shukron as a hero and dedicated IDF reserve soldier who exemplified commitment, leadership, and selflessness in his service to the nation and devotion to his family. Security forces recently arrested the gunman responsible for the attack following a joint manhunt in the area.
