Jerusalem, 10 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Yashar! party, headed by Gadi Eisenkot, signed a surplus vote agreement with Yair Golan’s Democrats party on Thursday. Meanwhile, Naftali Bennett’s B’Yachad party signed a similar agreement with Avigdor Liberman’s Israel Beiteinu party.
Surplus vote agreements allow two political parties to combine their unused votes after the initial allocation of Knesset seats, potentially giving one of the parties an additional seat that neither would have secured on its own.
Israelis are due to vote on October 27.
