Jerusalem, 10 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Standing near the Western Wall in Jerusalem, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday night said on his Telegram channel: “President Trump announced this evening that Iran is trying to rearm with nuclear weapons. It’s true.”
Netanyahu continued: “After we destroyed its immediate capability to produce nuclear bombs, both in Operation Rising Lion and Operation Roaring Lion, they are trying again.”
“I pledge to you here, at the Western Wall, ahead of the Jewish New Year: As long as I am prime minister, Iran will not have nuclear weapons,” he vowed.
“At the same time,” he noted, “we are striking the Iranian axis, not only very heavily in the Gaza Strip, but also in Lebanon. We destroyed the Beaufort Ridge, and now we are dealing with the Ali Taher Ridge. To be continued.”
