Jerusalem, 30 August, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Deputy Prime Minister and Labor Minister Yariv Levin signed an expansion order for the collective agreement between the Presidium of the Business Sector and the Histadrut, updating the employer participation rate for employee recuperation and vacation expenses for 2026.

The daily rate for recuperation pay in the private sector will rise to 451.50 shekels ($133) per day, reflecting the increase in the Consumer Price Index, up from 418 shekels ($123) set during the last update in 2023.

The expansion order applies to private-sector employees and employers not covered by a more favorable arrangement. The order is retroactive, meaning employees who already received recuperation pay before its publication will be entitled to a supplemental payment up to the updated rate.
