Jerusalem, 7 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Yashar! party unveiled its 2026 election slate on Monday, and former IDF chief of staff and party chairman Gadi Eisenkot said the political camp stands as a well-organized alliance of four parties united by a single goal: forming a new and better government for Israel.

Eisenkot’s Yashar! has maintained its position as the largest party in the center-left bloc in many polls, with about 23 seats, an average of 10 seats more than its closest competitor, Naftali Bennett’s Beyachad.

Addressing his future political partners, Eisenkot called on them to continue working together with the coordination and responsibility needed to offer Israelis a credible alternative. “We have no other privilege,” he said.

He said the partners would unite behind whichever party wins the strongest public support for change, committed to providing four years of stable government.
