Jerusalem, 23 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Prime Minister Netanyahu decided to bring forward the appointment of Doron Cohen to the position of Israel’s Civil Service Commissioner.

“Doron Cohen brings with him a wealth of experience in both the public service and the business sector, and previously served as Director General of the Ministry of Finance, Director of the Government Companies Authority, Director General of the Israel Public Investment Corporation, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Cellcom,” said the Prime Minister’s Office.

The appointment will be presented to the Appointments Committee of the Civil Service Commission and then to the government for approval.
