Jerusalem, 26 August, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Forces from the IDF’s (Israel Defense Forces) Golani Brigade Combat Team are operating in the security zone in Southern Lebanon to remove threats against Israel.
Over the past few weeks, the forces destroyed more than 400 terror infrastructures and located numerous weapons, including anti-tank missiles, anti-aircraft missiles, explosive devices, Kalashnikov rifles, and mortar shells.
The IDF said it will not allow Hezbollah to harm Israeli citizens or its forces, and will continue operating to remove threats while remaining committed to the ceasefire agreement.
