Jerusalem, 9 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — IDF (Israel Defense Forces) infantry have been operating recently north of the Litani River in Lebanon to eliminate terrorists and remove threats to Israeli civilians. Since the beginning of operations in the area, the forces have eliminated more than 40 Hezbollah terrorists and found numerous weapons hidden in civilian spaces.

In recent days, the forces located several Hezbollah weapons depots placed in civilian buildings in the Zutar al-Gharbiya and Zutar al-Sharqiya areas. The weapons found in the depots included Kalashnikov-type firearms, anti-tank missiles and launchers, magazines, grenades, communication devices, drones, and additional combat equipment.

One of the depots was established in a civilian building and was used by “Radwan Force” terrorists. In the depot, dozens of weapons were found in a bedroom on a bed, alongside a baby crib.

These weapons, said the IDF, were used by the organization’s terrorists to advance and carry out terror plots against its forces operating in the area.
